Wine, cheese, clubbin' & Two-Bit !

After Cherry's unfortunate incident with her place catching on fire, she decided to come and stay with me just until everything got back in order... It was great, we sipped wine ate some cheese and giggled over old times. I was definately happy to be back in Tulsa, I forgot how much I missed my friends; especially Cherry !

After a few drinks and some good stories we decided to head into town... Both of us got dressed up... Me in my black knee high heels and little black dress and Cherry is her sexi red tube top and black skirt... She could always pull off red, wish I could do that haha.

Cherry "How about we go to this new pub down town, Doolans they call it"
Me: "Sounds good ! "

So we called a cab and went into town... It was a Friday night, so it was fairly busy... Didn't see anyone I knew but decided I was going to have a few more drinks and dance... God I love to dance ! Me and Cherry danced the night away.... Guys hitting on her as always, thats my Cherry haha. While we were dancing a very cute guy came up to her so I decided to give them alittle alone time and I headed to the bar for another beer.... Greasers and Socs all in one bar... I like to say times have changed, but you could see everyone sticking with their 'own kind' .... I was at the bar and ordered another drink and a voice yelled out

"That ones on me"

Who the hell could that be I thought... Turned around and it was Two-Bit Matthews... The greaser I met that night at the movies a while back... The one that never bothered to call me ???? Hmmm, what could he be up too I thought... Either way , I didnt care, I was secretly excited to see him ! Still handsome as ever, and hoping his humor haded left him....

Two Bit "Long time no see, didn't think I'd find you here... Whats a good looking girl like you doing in a place like this"
Me "Me and Cherry decided to come out for somes drinks and dancing... She suggusted this place..." I gave him a  glace and continued "And now Im glad she did"

He smiled .... And our conversation just took off... He was telling him about his mother, and I told him I heard and how sorry I was. I guess he just had to get out , clear his head...  But he kept cracking jokes, I guess that was his way of dealing with loss... After we finished a couple of drinks he grabbed me and we headed to the dance floor , WOW, What a great dancer ! Who would have thought ???? He has both his hands on my waist to and turned me around... I now had my back turned to him as he was grinding up behind me, his hands carressing my curves... I was in heaven ! Cherry seen us and she shot me a glance, probably wondering why I was dirty dancing with a greaser, but I could tell she thought it was pretty hot too!

It was close to 3am when the bar started closing down... Me, Two-Bit, Cherry and a guy she met there were standing outside while the two guys had  a smoke and we called a cab... I was going home, Cherry took off; not sure where too but I knew she'd find her way home... I just stood there alone with Two-Bit chatting until the cab arrived for me to take me home.... It was a great night of dancing and drinks. We get along so well... The cab came and I handed Two-Bit my number (Hopefully he uses it this time!)... He gave me a kiss, just on the top of my forehead and thanked me for a good night...

As the cab took off, I waved to him and he headed off walking in the other direction....
What a great night....

Today was kind of a day for mixed emotions. It started off just your usual day... Get up, shower, go to work, have lunch with friends, go home, shower again (I like my hot showers lol), cook supper and laze around...

Just as I was finishing up my supper, my friend Mel called and she had awesome news ! Her hubby was finally moving up with her... Their military so they spend alot of time apart but this put a smile on both our faces ! I was estatic for her :D

Then I decided to call Dean... I'll probably regret that when my phone bill comes in, but whatever... He was happy to be home, over on the other side of the pond as he calls it... Looks like hes going to France though for a while, so I wont get to talk to him for the next couple of weeks.... It was nice talking to him , but to be honest, the more I talk to him the more I think it is good we decided to just remain friends... Hes very serious and an awesome guy... Handsome too :P but I like to have alittle fun. Sure I like to be serious, but its always nice to have alittle laugh every now and then...

So needless to say I was in a good mood after talking to two great friends. I was tired though because I had such a long day at work, didnt even make it to the gym... I decided I would just hope in my lazy boy next to the wood stove with some hot chocolate, a nice warm blanket and my laptop :)

I went on my blogs and seen that Two-Bit's mother died ... I felt so terrible for him. I always had such a soft spot for him... Never knew why he didnt bother to call me that night after the movies.... Maybe it was intimidation, or maybe he didnt think I'd leave Randy... I dont know, I always felt a special connection with him, even though we never spoke... Weird right ??? Hes a cutie though and I'll never forget his sense of humor ! He could always make me smile, even on the not so good days... I just hope hes okay....

So heres the latest update on my 'adventure' up north... After finishing school here I decided to go to university in Cape Breton, thats right, I went all the way up to Canada ! It was nice but cold, and boy oh boy do they like their hockey ??? Bunch of odd balls if you ask me, but friendly and I met some great people ! I met a girl at school and we instantly became great friends, her name was Melissa and we did everything together ! Last I seen her she continued school in New Brunswick and later moved to Ontario...I miss her :( But while there I was studying to become a libarian and even took some French ;)  Parlez-vous ?

The school I attended had alot of Scottish exchange students and I ended up dating a great guy named Dean who was from Glasgow .... He had the cutest accent and the sweetest little face... He was great, we had such a great time together... I often ventured up to the Cape Breton Highlands along with Melissa and Joe for local parties (What they call ceilidhs ?) but it was the best ! Fiddle, moonshine and fresh lobster... Yes they party alittle different they everyone home in Tulsa haha.

Needless to say when Dean finished school he was heading back to Scotland, he really wanted me to come over with him but I was offered a job back home... I thought about it for a really long time... I was going to continue my adventure overseas, but decided that my heart belonged home in the US.I really missed my friends there and all the great times we had together... I really loved Dean but we decided it would be best to remain friends and I continue to speak to him...

And being honest to all my friends as well as myself, I have a 'secret crush' on someone back home in Tulsa anyway... He doesnt know, but I cant wait to catch up with Cherry and fill her in ! I think a sleep over with some nice wine, cheese and fancy pillow talk are in order !!!

Its great to be back :D

After being away up North for a few years to finish up school I am very happy to be home in Tulsa ! I thought, what better way to catch up with old friends than to blog :) I have missed everyone so much while I was away, especially my best friend Cherry ; and I cannot wait to meet up with her again ! I hope it will be just like old times ... I feel so out of the loop after being away for so long, that I was jumping for joy when I heard the news of the job offer back in my home town !

Updates of my adventure North to come soon! But for now, I'm off to see some old friends : D
